1. Pay Attention

5. Clean the Outside Unit
Don’t forget about your outside unit. It is just as important as the indoor unit and needs to be regularly cleaned also. Check your outside unit for any leaves or debris, and make sure you cut back plants and shrubs by at least three feet. Wipe down the inside and outside of the unit to get rid of dirt. Take your water hose and and with a gentle spray wash down the coils of the unit. This will help your unit breath and run more efficient.
